Frequently asked questions

What Harvverse is, how it works and who is behind it.

Short, verifiable answers. Detailed financials live in the data room under NDA — request access here.

What is Harvverse?

Harvverse is an AgriFintech company that replaces agricultural debt with profit-sharing partnerships for smallholder farmers, starting with specialty coffee in Honduras. It operates through two legal entities: Harvverse Inc. (Delaware) and Harvverse Honduras S.A. de C.V.

How does Harvverse work?

A Digital Partner co-invests in a verified coffee lot and shares the harvest’s profit with the farmer, instead of lending. Capital is held in regulated bank custody and released on verified milestones; lots are scored with satellite data.

Is Harvverse debt or investment?

Neither a loan nor fixed interest — it is a profit-sharing partnership. If the harvest underperforms, both earn less and the farmer never ends up owing.

Who founded Harvverse?

Harvverse was founded in 2023 by Jorge Lanza (Co-Founder & CEO) and Carol Guevara (Co-Founder & COO).

Where is Harvverse based?

Harvverse is headquartered in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and incorporated in Delaware, USA, as Harvverse Inc. The operating entity is Harvverse Honduras S.A. de C.V.

What is a Digital Partnership?

A Digital Partnership is a profit-sharing agreement where a partner co-invests in a coffee lot and shares the resulting harvest profit with the farmer, verified with satellite data and settled transparently.

What makes Harvverse different from agricultural lenders?

Lenders require repayment regardless of harvest outcome. Harvverse shares the risk: capital that participates in the harvest instead of extracting a fixed repayment.

Is Harvverse a real, registered company?

Yes. Harvverse operates two registered legal entities: Harvverse Inc., a Delaware C-Corp in the United States, and Harvverse Honduras S.A. de C.V. in Honduras, with a formalized cap table, a US registered agent and corporate legal counsel. The founding team is public and verifiable.

Who can become a Digital Partner?

People and organizations who want to share in the profit of a real specialty-coffee harvest rather than lend at interest. Registration and farm discovery happen on the platform at harvverse.farm.

What technology does Harvverse use?

Copernicus/ESA satellite data to verify crop condition and anticipate climate risk; on-chain settlement for transparency and efficiency in the profit split; and WhatsApp as a free service channel for farmers, with no app to download.

What was Late Harvest?

Late Harvest was the predecessor program (2016–2019) that connected Honduran specialty coffee with international buyers, with more than 400 farmers participating. It is market validation of the Harvverse model, not current platform traction.

Does Harvverse have a token or cryptocurrency?

No. Harvverse does not issue a token or cryptocurrency. On-chain records are used purely as transparency and settlement infrastructure; Digital Partnerships are not registered securities and are not publicly tradable instruments.
