High-altitude coffee farm in the misty mountains of Honduras

Debt never shared the farmer's risk. We built the capital that does.

Harvverse replaces agricultural debt with profit-sharing partnerships — capital that shares the harvest instead of ignoring its risk. We start with specialty coffee in Honduras.

What is Harvverse

Harvverse is an AgriFintech company that replaces agricultural debt with profit-sharing.

A Digital Partner co-invests in a verified coffee lot and shares the harvest's profit with the farmer, instead of lending. Harvverse operates through two legal entities: Harvverse Inc. (Delaware, USA) and Harvverse Honduras S.A. de C.V. It is headquartered in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and was founded in 2023.

The model is crop- and country-agnostic: agricultural debt is the wrong instrument everywhere smallholders farm. We start where we have unfair advantage — Honduran specialty coffee.

The problem

A loan comes due — good harvest or bad.

The farmer carries 100% of production risk. When the harvest fails, the farmer loses and the lender loses. This is not a financing gap; it is the wrong instrument.

  • 100%Of production risk sits with the farmer today
  • 1×/yearIncome arrives once a year — payments do not wait

The model

A partner co-invests. Both share the harvest.

Profit-sharing, not debt. If the harvest performs, both earn. If it underperforms, the risk is shared — not transferred to the farmer.

01

A Digital Partner co-invests in a lot

Capital enters as a share of the harvest, not as an obligation with a fixed due date.

02

The farmer keeps most of the profit

The farmer still owns the land and runs the operation. Capital works with them, not over them.

03

The split is positive-sum

The outcome is settled transparently and verifiably for both sides.

Regulated bank custody

Capital is held by a supervised financial institution and released against verified milestones.

Independent satellite verification

Lot condition is verified with Earth-observation data, not with self-reported claims.

End-to-end traceability

Every contribution and every settlement is recorded and auditable by both parties.

Impact

Shared prosperity, not extraction.

The differentiator is not the technology: it is who keeps the value. In our model the farmer keeps most of the profit and gains access to capital that did not exist for them before.
